This visionary project, as part of Leysin365, will transform the village’s rail network with a 1’300-meter underground rail line connecting the Leysin-Village station to the ski lifts, running through the heart of Leysin.
Three new stations will be built: Leysin-Village, Leysin-Centre and Leysin-Télécabines. An innovative vertical link will also connect the Leysin-Village station to the locality of Versmont.
This ambitious project represents a new era in regional mobility. It involves the construction of a modern underground railway line that will provide a direct connection, ensuring better access to the center of the village of Leysin and the ski lifts, and thus improved connectivity for both residents and visitors.
Three brand new stations – Leysin-Village, Leysin-Centre et Leysin-Télécabines – represent the centerpiece of this new infrastructure. In addition, the existing line and its stations between Leysin-Village and Leysin-Grand-Hôtel will be dismantled to make way for a more efficient and environmentally friendly solution.
As project manager, consortium leader and BIM coordinator, we will be in charge of all stages of the project, from design (SIA 32) to commissioning (SIA 53). Thanks to innovative collaboration and advanced technologies, Leysin365 will pave the way for sustainable mobility for generations to come.
