BIM in Underground Construction

The German Committee for Underground Construction (DAUB) publishes the BIM Model Requirements as a supplement to the DAUB recommendation “BIM in Underground Construction” with the support of Lombardi, especially on the topic of subsoil modeling.

The German Committee for Underground Construction, known in short as DAUB, is publishing four BIM model requirements in August 2022 as a supplement to the DAUB recommendation “BIM in Underground Construction”. Lombardi has been actively supporting the DAUB committee since 2020 in the working groups and in the further development of the recommendations, and is particularly involved in the topics of subsoil modeling, Part 3. The focus is on cross-national harmonization of the DAUB recommendations, which are based on the existing national norms and standards of the participating countries in the DACH region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland), as well as taking into account current developments at buildingSMART International.
