Job Description

  • Project planning: Contribute to assessing current and future wants and needs of external clients and ones’ organizations goals within projects, including clients’ priority of scope, budget, and time constraints of projects. Coordination: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, architects, designers, and contractors to facilitate seamless communication and information exchange throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and issues. Assist in developing and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success. Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and other relevant records. Ensure all project documentation is organized, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
  • Progress Monitoring: Assist in monitoring project progress against milestones and deadlines. Update project tracking systems and provide regular status updates to stakeholders. Quality Assurance: Contribute to the implementation of quality control processes to ensure that projects meet or exceed established quality standards.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with clients by providing regular updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations effectively. Health and Safety: Uphold Lombardi Engineering's commitment to safety by promoting and adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations.
  • Contractual: Assist and support the Commercial/contracts management team in preparation of contractual correspondences, change orders and contractual/commercial documents for engineering projects. IMS: Support the implementation and maintenance of the company's Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field. Proven 5 years’ experience in engineering project support or project management roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools and understanding of engineering and contractual principles and construction processes.
  • Problem-solving mindset and adaptability to changing project requirements. Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
