Engineering Project Manager in the field of Hydropower or Transportation Infrastructure

80%–100% | Toronto-Mississauga

Join the founding phase of our Canadian office (current offices in Toronto and Montreal): lead civil or hydraulic design for large infrastructure projects, work within a dynamic local team, and rely on the technical strength of a world-leading engineering group.

Job Description

  • Lead and coordinate all stages of infrastructure and hydraulic works for Canadian projects, ensuring delivery to scope, schedule and budget.
  • Supervise, assign and review project teamwork; enforce QA/QC, compliance with standards/regulations and high-quality engineering outputs.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and act as primary technical contact with clients, partners, contractors and public authorities (permitting/stakeholder meetings).
  • Support business build-out and business development of the local office: mentor staff, contribute to proposals and represent Lombardi’s design office in Canada.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of proven experience in civil or geotechnical engineering, with significant exposure to large infrastructure projects (ideally hydropower/pumped storage and/or major transportation).
  • B.Sc./M.Sc. in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Canada is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, client/stakeholder management and communication skills; English required, French an asset.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with proven ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural environments.
