Third parties, such as but not limited to universities and educational institutions, former employers (e.g., references).

3.1 Means of data processing

The processing will be carried out in automated and/or manual form, using methods and tools designed to ensure maximum security and confidentiality, by subjects specially trained to do so. The personal data collected will be kept in a form that allows the identification of data subjects for a period of time not exceeding the achievement of the purposes for which the personal data are processed.

4. Recipients of personal information

We may share personal information with employees and/or personnel acting under the authority of the Data Controller (duly instructed to do so), as well as third parties bound to the Data Controller by contractual relationship, for the purpose of fulfilling contractual obligations and fulfilling one or more of the aforementioned processing purposes. These third parties will process the data provided as data controllers or independent data controllers. The website is based in Switzerland (hosting); therefore data will not be transmitted outside the Swiss Confederation. With reference to completing the "Careers" form, should you apply for a job position outside Switzerland, the data will be disclosed outside the Territory of the Swiss Confederation, in the country for which you are applying. The Federal Council has found that EU and EEA countries provide adequate data protection. For countries outside the EU and outside the EEA, the data controller has provided Contractual Clauses in order to regulate this data flow. 6. Rights of the data subject

According to the conditions established by the FADP, the Data Controller acknowledges the following rights to you as a Data Subject (non-exhaustive list):

  • to obtain the rectification of inaccurate or obsolete personal data;
  • to be informed in writing and free of charge if personal data concerning you are being processed;
  • to revoke the consent to the processing of data that you have previously given (if any);
  • prevent the communication to third parties of sensitive personal data (if any);
  • to obtain the portability of personal data or to demand their transmission to a third party;
  • to request the restriction or blocking of data processing, the prevention of data disclosure to third parties or rectification or destruction of personal data;
  • the right to request that a given processing of personal data be prohibited, that a given communication of personal data to third parties be prohibited, or that certain personal data be deleted or destroyed;
  • if neither the correctness nor the inaccuracy of the personal data can be proved, to request that a note be added to the data to indicate its disputed nature;
